MALTA aggrappante 20A is a dry premixed mortar, based on high-strength white cement and selected calcareous aggregates, formulated according to the most established and traditional recipes, to be used for the creation of adhering substrates.‎ It is suitable for the treatment of particularly smooth surfaces such as prefabricated panels, pillars, slabs; in general, on all occasions when it is necessary to create a layer of material with considerable adherence (deteriorated surfaces, cement or expanded clay blocks and concrete).‎ The white colour makes MALTA aggrappante 20A particularly suitable as a final layer.‎ The recipe of MEGAPREM 20AB is complemented by additives of natural origin that ensure the high performance only characteristic of modern ready-mixed mortars.‎ The water retention of MEGAPREM 20AB gives the bonding agent good rheology, smoothness, perfect curing with no cracking or crazing.‎ Its thixotropy allows for the application of considerable layers without dripping and lowers trowel resistance.‎ Due to its strong adhesion (release strength greater than 1.‎1 MPa), MEGAPREM 20AB can be applied directly to all substrates, provided they are clean and properly dampened.‎ The particular nature of the calcareous aggregate used, which is lighter than common sands, gives the fresh mortar produced with MEGAPREM 20AB characteristics of lightness superior to those normally found in traditional cement and sand based products, with obvious advantages for the user.‎
