Breda is a 2-seater linear fabric sofa.
The Breda collection is one of Pierre Guariche's most emblematic creations from the late 1950s. It perfectly represents his approach: an elegant modernity, a visually light structure, a technical rigor at the service of comfort and a new scale of comfortable yet space-saving furniture.
Designed in the late 1950s, Breda was born in a period when Guariche explored exposed metal structures, suspended seating and compact volumes, conceived for modern interiors. A rational and industrial production, where constructive logic becomes a signature: thin structures, often in black painted metal, supporting padded volumes with clean but welcoming lines.
Less organic than other contemporary creations, Breda is more structured, almost graphic, qualities that make it extraordinarily current even today.
