MAGE JOINTSEALENT

JOINTSEALENT is a bituminous mastic with a high elastic response formulated for sealing joints between pavements up to 40 mm; it is therefore ideal for sealing sub-services such as cable ducts and for large cracks with significant thermal expansion.‎ JOINTSEALENT is applied hot after cleaning the areas concerned; it is a durable, waterproof and flexible solution.‎ It can be applied about 30 minutes after laying, and once dry it is resistant to infiltration.‎ Complies with BS EN 14188.‎ Simple and quick to apply, it stops the degradation of floors by eliminating infiltration and supporting thermal expansion; high slip resistance.‎ Applicable all year round.‎ APPLICATION FIELDS Asphalt and/or concrete pavements, i.‎e.‎ roads and motorways, toll roads, service areas, cycle paths, car parks, airport runways.‎ Benefits High shrinkage and expansion capacity, easy and quick to apply, stops pavement degradation by eliminating seepage and thermal expansion; high slip resistance value.‎ Applicable all year round.‎ Instructions for use Heat to a temperature of 170 ± 10° C and mix in special boilers with stirrers until the material is homogeneously mixed.‎ Ensure that temperatures are under control and avoid exceeding 190° C, the maximum safe temperature.‎ Application After thorough cleaning and subsequent heating of the damaged area, pour on the bitumen mastic.‎ For concrete floors the use of primer is recommended.‎
