MAGE ROADPAV
ROADPAV is a cold mix that, thanks to a special chemical process, hardens on contact with water, which then acts as a catalyst instead of a disintegrating element as with all other traditional mixes. It guarantees definitive and permanent application on asphalt and/or concrete pavements. It is ideal for repairing deteriorated areas of any size and thickness, levelling manholes, etc.; applicable even in the presence of heavy rain or snow, it guarantees a long-lasting result, reducing ordinary maintenance costs and ensuring public safety.
ROADPAV features
- Reliable, applied with care it ensures definitive interventions with consequent reduction of labour costs in road maintenance management
- Versatile, once applied it hardens reacting with water; it can also be used in the presence of rain or snow in the most extreme seasons and conditions
- Ideal, in the case of flowing traffic the road can be immediately returned to traffic; in the case of subsidence of previously laid material, the use of the fine grain from 04 will allow the level of the adjacent surface to be reached
- Ecological, environmentally compatible thanks to the total absence of solvents and the use of vegetable oils
- Resolving, also in numerous other circumstances such as levelling manholes resurfacing concrete paving slabs or creating speed bumps
- Simple, only simple tools are required for paving
- Practical, the 25 kg packs are sealed, thus guaranteeing a long storage period
Instructions for use
- Brush the surface of any internal debris, remove standing water or ice;
- In the case of applications on concrete or particularly thin layers and/or in the case of overlapping of multiple layers and in any case in cases where the grip on existing surfaces may be compromised, use primer, preferably ROADPAV primer;
- Pour the product onto the damaged area;
- Level with a rake or trowel;
- Sprinkle with water evenly, approximately 1 litre every 25 kg of product, making sure it penetrates so as to activate the hardening process;
- Compact the areas thus obtained with a manual press, roller or, in the case of large areas, with a vibrating mechanical plate;
- Deeper potholes should be treated using ROADPAV 0/11 first (up to 10 cm) and then progressively move on to 0/8 and possibly 0/4;
- Once compacted, ROADPAV can be given to traffic immediately as long as traffic does not stop or drive over it. Final curing of the material occurs after approximately one hour depending on the ambient temperature. If ice is present, it must be removed;
- Average coverage: approx. 0.5 sqm with a thickness of 20 mm per 25 kg of product, corresponding to 2-2.5 kg per cubic decimetre.
Packaging and storage
- Each pack contains 25 kg of product;
- Store preferably indoors in a dry place, avoiding direct exposure to sunlight or ice;
- The seal inside the pack must not be removed unless immediately before use. Once opened, the package should preferably be used in its entirety as the material will tend to harden in contact with air and any moisture;
- It is preferable to use gloves to avoid direct contact with the material. In case of contact, use an appropriate hand-washing paste.
