MAGE MAXIFLEX

MAXIFLEX is an elastomeric bitumen that, enriched with rubber granules, reinforcing microfibres and aggregates, with a high PSV index, is suitable for repairing extensive deterioration on rigid or flexible asphalt and/or concrete pavements.‎ It is particularly suitable for extensive repairs between concrete slabs on airport runways.‎ It can be used as an S.‎A.‎M.‎I.‎ in order to restore existing deteriorations and prevent the formation of further ones.‎ MAXIFLEX has excellent elastic return, load-bearing strength and adhesion to the substrate, even cementitious, making it ideal for restoration work which, in several layers and with the addition of medium-large aggregate, can even exceed 100/150 mm.‎ Applicable all year round, MAXIFLEX is quick to install, minimising traffic disruption.‎ Impermeable and elastic, it prevents further deterioration and significantly extends the effective life of the pavement, reducing general maintenance costs.‎ SPECIFIC APPLICATION FIELDS Asphalt and/or concrete pavements, i.‎e.‎ roads and motorways, toll lanes, car parks, airport runways.‎ Application Remove the deteriorated area and, after thorough cleaning and subsequent heating of the deteriorated area, pour the product in several layers over certain thicknesses.‎ For concrete pavements, it is preferable to use a primer and wait 15 minutes before applying the bitumen.‎ Benefits Simple and quick to apply, even with certain important precautions, it repairs deep and wide areas up to 250 mm in the long term, stopping pavement deterioration, eliminating infiltrations and supporting thermal expansion; high slip resistance.‎ Can be applied all year round.‎ Instructions for use Bring to temperature in special boilers with stirrers until the material is homogeneously mixed.‎ Ensure that the temperatures are under control, which should be between 180° C and 200° C.‎ Allow to cool before opening for traffic.‎
