MAGE ULTRASEAL

Ultraseal is a bitumen modified with special polymers that is excellent as a crack sealant in asphalt and/or concrete pavements.‎ Formulated to be a durable, waterproof and flexible solution to cracks in asphalt and/or concrete pavements, once applied, it creates an impenetrable protection that significantly extends the life of the pavement.‎ Using ULTRASEAL is quick and easy considering that the road can be quickly reopened to traffic and that it can be applied on motorways using moving construction site signs.‎ To be applied hot, after careful cleaning and heating of the area to be treated, it combines the fundamental characteristics of total impermeability, excellent adhesion to existing surfaces and excellent elasticity to thermal expansion.‎ The formulation includes aggregates that guarantee a good degree of slip resistance.‎ APPLICATION FIELDS Asphalt and/or concrete pavements, i.‎e.‎ roads and motorways, toll lanes, service areas, cycle paths, car parks, airport runways.‎ Benefits Easy and quick to apply, it stops pavement deterioration by eliminating infiltration and assisting with thermal expansion; high degree of slip resistance.‎ Can be applied all year round.‎ Instructions for use Heat to a temperature of 180 ± 10° C and mix in special boilers with stirrers until the material is homogeneously mixed.‎ Ensure that temperatures are under control and avoid exceeding 200° C, the maximum safe temperature.‎ Application After thorough cleaning and subsequent heating of the damaged area, pour the bituminous mastic, taking care to pour the material one centimetre on each side more than the lesions.‎ For concrete floors the use of primer is recommended.‎
