Cosmos B is a rigid, medium-density rock wool panel, coated on the exposed side with a mineral veil, for thermal and acoustic insulation in the underside of first floors, pilotis, garages, and rooms at risk of fire.‎ Application The panel is applied to the underside of floors using concealed mechanical fasteners.‎ Benefits Fire Performance: Rock wool is noncombustible, helps prevent the spread of fire, and can significantly increase a structure's fire-retaining capacity.‎ It is an ideal insulation material for fire-resistant structures.‎ Test reports and/or fire resistance ratings are available on our website.‎ Thermal Performance: The panel increases the thermal resistance of the floor to which it is applied.‎ Acoustic Properties: The open-cell structure of rock wool contributes to improving the acoustic comfort of the rooms to which it is exposed.‎ Aesthetic advantages: The concealed fastening system, painted finish, beveled edges, and varnishing provide an optimal aesthetic result.‎ Dimensional stability: The panel does not undergo dimensional or performance variations with changes in ambient temperature and humidity.‎
