ROCKWOOL ITALIA REDAir® - Вентилируемая фасадная система
REDAir® is the new solution created by ROCKWOOL® for the insulation and cladding of ventilated facades. It was created to combine the special aesthetic configurations offered by the ROCKPANEL® range with the high performance of ROCKWOOL® stone wool boards.
REDAir® a new solution for ventilated fa çades
When we speak of a ventilated façade, we mean an opaque wall with an external cladding made up of elements of varying workmanship, size and material consistency, installed dry by means of mechanical or chemical suspension and fastening devices, which allow them to be separated from the back wall, suitably insulated, so as to create a thin cavity that allows external air to circulate.
It is important that this cavity is thick enough to interrupt the physical continuity between the cladding and the infill wall so as to allow adequate air circulation within the system.
The construction of a ventilated facade also allows the installation of continuous insulation, even in correspondence with structural elements, with consequent correction of thermal bridges.
With this solution it is therefore possible to significantly improve the configuration of the opaque vertical envelope of buildings, both from a technological and performance point of view and from an architectural one.
This is why ventilated façade systems have over time become one of the most technologically advanced solutions.
In fact, the ROCKWOOL rock wool boards are now joined by the ROCKPANEL range of cladding boards, with their infinite aesthetic possibilities, versatility and high technical performance.
It is now possible to combine benefits in terms of living comfort, fire protection, durability, fast installation, aesthetic possibilities and sustainability in one solution.
Where is it installed?
To date, ventilated wall cladding, combined with a high-performance insulation layer, is one of the main external finishing options for opaque enclosures and is used in particular for high rise and large buildings, as well as in all cases where the primary objective is to achieve functionality, aesthetic effect, high performance, efficiency and sustainability of the building envelope.
