Feltro 128 is a low-density rock wool felt, coated on one side with aluminum foil reinforced with a mineral fiber mesh, for thermal and acoustic insulation of systems.‎ Application The product is particularly suitable for air handling and ventilation ducts, pipes, and ducts.‎ To install, unroll and cut the felt to size according to the section to be insulated.‎ Seal the joints with aluminum tape.‎ This operation must be performed in an environment with sufficient humidity to avoid compromising installation.‎ Benefits Fire performance: Rock wool is noncombustible, helps block the spread of fire, and can significantly increase a structure's fire-retaining capacity; it is an ideal insulation material for fire-resistant structures.‎ Ease of installation: The product, cut to size during installation, allows for quick and easy installation.‎ Thermal performance: the product allows for thermal insulation of the system sections on which it is installed.‎
