A Bottle of Twilight is a bottle-shaped light piece that lets you “pour” twilight into a room. Carefully shaped as a small object for everyday space, it turns an ordinary moment into a quiet evening ritual.
The piece is operated through the gesture of handling the bottle itself. By turning it upside down, the light can be switched on and off and dimmed, as if the user were slowly pouring out the remaining light of the day. This simple movement gives the act of lighting a room a tactile rhythm, somewhere between use and ceremony.
The work was conceived for evenings when time feels crowded, unsettled, or difficult to close. Rather than only providing illumination, it offers a gentle transition into night: a small device for restoring pace, atmosphere, and a sense of ending.
Reimagined as Living Equipment, A Bottle of Twilight transforms a familiar container form into a light that keeps the memory of dusk close at hand.
