THERMOBLOK® – Zip KLIMA is a thermal insulation monoblock designed for the installation of ZIP external blinds, engineered to ensure high thermal insulation performance, continuity of the building envelope and seamless integration of the shading system into the window opening.‎ Fully made to measure, it can be configured for the installation of the window unit either flush with the internal wall or centred, adapting to specific design requirements.‎ The compartment housing the awning box is dimensioned according to the technical characteristics of the shading system and reinforced with a press-formed metal element, ensuring strength and reliability.‎ The window frame is recessed on three sides and, where the wall construction allows, the system can also be configured for the recessed fitting of a fly screen on three sides.‎ The front rebate is available in 72 mm or 54 mm configurations, whilst the 80 mm trough-shaped fourth side is fitted with a dedicated thermal break.‎ TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS: The top rail is made of EPS Neopor (sintered expanded polystyrene with added graphite) with a density of 30 kg/m³ and a declared thermal conductivity of λD = 0.‎030 W/mK.‎ The thickness of the cavity varies according to the dimensions of the ZIP awning box, whilst maintaining a minimum thickness of 50 mm for the upper insulation.‎ The structure is reinforced with 18 mm plywood inserts and fitted with specific recesses for securing it to the building structure.‎ The system incorporates a universal guide rail made from press-formed sheet metal, designed to ensure compatibility with the main ZIP awnings available on the market.‎ This solution offers the designer and window fitter maximum freedom in choosing the shading system, whilst ensuring a precise, stable installation that is perfectly integrated with the monoblock.‎ The TBK Type ZIP thermal insulation side panels, available in thicknesses of 90 mm and 120 mm, are made from Neopor EPS with a structural core of plywood and an integrated 18 mm sub-frame to house the window or door unit.‎ The integrated metal guide holder allows the ZIP blind guides to be fixed in place, whilst the specialised PVC technical profiles ensure correct alignment with the external wall face and facilitate finishing work.‎ The TBK Type 80 thermal insulation panel, made from high-density XPS, completes the window assembly by eliminating the lower thermal bridge.‎ It is designed to accommodate the window sill and is supplied with a dedicated thermal break in XPS for windows and in Purenit for French windows.‎ The system can be supplemented with numerous optional extras, including provision for a recessed fly screen via a dedicated aluminium profile and the TBK skim-coating system, comprising external wall insulation mortar, a plaster-reinforcing mesh and technical PVC profiles to ensure professional installation and a finish that blends seamlessly with the façade.‎ THERMAL PERFORMANCE Thermal
