CEM I 52,5 R is a type I Portland cement with very high normalised strength and high initial strength.‎ This Cement is designed for structural concrete works in moderately aggressive environments.‎ It is suitable for applications where rapid development of mechanical performance is required, and thanks to the rapid development of hydration heat, it offers the possibility of casting concrete during cold climates by speeding up setting and hardening.‎ If used with new-generation hyper-plasticising admixtures, the product lends itself effectively to reducing energy costs in the accelerated curing of castings by thermal cycle.‎ Environmental sustainability The product is accompanied by documentation that includes the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) declaration, as well as environmental declarations useful for the general definition of the sustainability of the product and its management within the CAM (Minimum Environmental Criteria) and in its possible use in public works.‎
