OPTÌMIO® XF2 - Due to their physical properties, concretes made of OPTÌMIO® XF2 exposure class are recommended for the construction of external vertical structural elements such as walls, pillars and bridge piers, and also for horizontal elements such as car parks and paving in general.‎ Suitable environments All environments that are characterised by moderate water saturation in combination with the presence of de-icing salts Examples: - Concrete with vertical surfaces exposed to rain and frost and to mist of de-icing salts; - Concrete with non-vertical surfaces that are not subject to complete saturation but are exposed to frost, rain or water, and to mist of de-icing salts Pre-mixed structural concrete.‎
