TECTORSPEX 703 R is a single-component, quick-setting, polymer-modified, air-expanding thixotropic cementitious mortar (PCC, UNI EN 1504-3) with a medium elastic modulus with polymeric fibres and specific additives inside to protect the reinforcement and counteract the risk of cracking.‎ Uses The product is indicated for: - Reconstruction of the thickness of the concrete cover of structural elements in reinforced concrete such as beams, pillars, hollow-core concrete floors, load-bearing partitions, and/or the restoration/reddening of the sections of structural elements in reinforced concrete - Vertical and horizontal restoration (also on top) of deteriorated reinforced concrete items with medium/low thickness such as gables, cornices, deteriorated parts of balconies and terraces - The limited restoration of surfaces subject to abrasion phenomena such as parts of canals, pedestrian ramps, industrial floors etc.‎ Yield - Approx.‎ 1.‎8 kg/m² per mm of applied thickness Advantages - High thixotropicity - Fast setting - Excellent mechanical strength - Excellent adhesion on traditional concrete substrates TectorSpex is the line of fibre-reinforced thixotropic mortars with passivating action, for restoring and smoothing degraded concrete, specially created to provide the solution to an existing structural and surface problem.‎ The product range meets classes R2, R3, R4 (UNI EN 1504 part 2, 3 and 7) with setting start times ranging from 20 to 60 minutes and fine to coarse grain sizes to meet all site requirements.‎
