TECTORSPEX 704 R is a single-component thixotropic cementitious mortar with passivating, rapid-setting, polymer-modified, air-expanding action (PCC, UNI EN 1504-3) with a high modulus of elasticity, containing polymeric fibres and specific additives to protect the reinforcement and counteract the risk of cracking.‎ Uses The product is suitable for the reconstruction of the cover thickness of structural elements in reinforced concrete such as beams, pillars, hollow core slabs, load-bearing partitions, and/or the restoration/reddening of sections of structural elements in reinforced concrete.‎ The vertical and horizontal restoration of deteriorated reinforced concrete structures, even overhead, such as: gables, cornices, deteriorated parts of balconies and terraces.‎ The restoration of surfaces subject to abrasion phenomena such as parts of: canals, pedestrian ramps Surface protection of concrete (UNI EN 1504-2) with coating method (C) according to the principles of moisture control (MC) and increased resistivity (IR).‎ Yield - Approx.‎ 1.‎7 kg/m² per mm thickness applied Advantages - High thixotropicity - Passivating action and protection of reinforcement bars (UNI EN 1504-7) - Fast setting - High mechanical resistance even with short curing times - High adhesion on traditional concrete substrates - Civil finish - Suitable also for low thicknesses (between 2 and 40 mm per single coat) and as a skimming coat TectorSpex is the line of fibre-reinforced thixotropic mortars with passivating action, for restoring and smoothing degraded concrete, specially created to provide the solution to an existing structural and surface problem.‎ The product range meets classes R2, R3, R4 (UNI EN 1504 part 2, 3 and 7) with setting start times ranging from 20 to 60 minutes and fine to coarse grain sizes to meet all site requirements.‎
