Super Fine Vermiculite with a grain size of 0 - 1 mm for industrial use
Vermiculite is a mineral belonging to the mica family. It is a product of natural origin which, subjected to an irreversible heat treatment at high temperature, is expanded, losing the combined water by vaporisation and becomes particularly light (110 +/- 20 kg/m3) and extremely insulating.
After the expansion process, vermiculite is sieved to obtain a product with a fine grain size of between 0 and 1 mm.
By virtue of its physical characteristics and performance, it lends itself not only to applications as a thermal and acoustic insulator, but also for use as a lightening element for manufactured goods, for the packaging of hazardous substances and in the steel industry.
Given its nature, it is also rot-proof, sterile, chemically inert and able to maintain its characteristics and performance over time.
Loose mineral aggregate.
