Airrock 33 ALU is a rigid medium-density rock wool panel, covered on one side with aluminum foil reinforced with a mineral fiber mesh that acts as a vapor barrier, for the thermal and acoustic insulation of perimeter walls.‎ Application The panels, pre-coupled with a vapor barrier, speed up the construction of perimeter walls.‎ The presence of the barrier regulates the hygrometric behavior of the walls in particularly critical conditions.‎ The continuity of the vapor control layer is achieved by sealing the panel joints with suitable adhesive tape.‎ Benefits Thermal performance: Thanks to its excellent thermal conductivity of 0.‎033 W/(mK), the panel is ideal for creating highly thermally resistant closures.‎ Vapor control: The aluminum, which covers one side of the panel, acts as a vapor barrier.‎ Fire behavior: Rock wool is noncombustible, helps block the spread of fire, and can significantly increase a structure's fire-retaining capacity.‎ It is an ideal insulation material for fire-resistant structures.‎ Acoustic properties: The open-cell structure of rock wool improves the soundproofing performance of the wall in which the panel is installed.‎ Dimensional stability: The panel does not undergo dimensional or performance changes as the ambient humidity changes.‎
