Airrock DD is a rigid, uncoated, dual-density rock wool panel for thermal and acoustic insulation of partition and perimeter walls.‎ The product significantly improves acoustic, thermal, and fire safety performance.‎ Application The product is suitable for both lightweight (dry construction) and solid-wall solutions.‎ When properly installed, the higher-density side, marked with a special marking, faces outward.‎ Advantages Dual density and acoustic properties: The open-cell structure of the rock wool and the dual density of the panel maximize sound absorption, contributing to the improvement of the sound insulation performance of the wall in which the product is installed and, if installed in a cavity, reducing cavity resonance.‎ Laboratory acoustic insulation tests are available.‎ Fire behavior: Rock wool is noncombustible, helps block the spread of fire, and can significantly increase a structure's fire-retaining capacity.‎ It is an ideal insulating material for fire-resistant structures.‎ Test reports and/or fire resistance ratings are available on our website.‎ Thermal performance: Thanks to its high thermal conductivity, the panel is ideal for creating highly thermally resistant closures.‎ Dual density and ease of installation: The product's dual density ensures strength (surface crust of the panel) and flexibility (bottom layer of the panel), making it easy and convenient to install.‎ Dimensional stability: The panel does not undergo dimensional or performance variations with changes in ambient humidity.‎
