ROCKWOOL ITALIA FRONTROCK EXTRA - Система внешнего утепления
Frontrock Extra is a rigid, uncoated, dual-density rock wool panel for thermal and acoustic insulation in exterior insulation systems.
Application
The panel undergoes a specific treatment during the manufacturing process, making it suitable for the harsh conditions typically encountered in exterior insulation. When properly installed, the higher-density side, marked with a special marking, faces outward.
Advantages
Fire performance: Rock wool is noncombustible, helps prevent the spread of fire, and can significantly increase a structure's fire-retardant capacity. It is an ideal insulation material for fire-resistant structures.
Dual density and mechanical properties: The product's excellent mechanical performance makes it ideal for withstanding significant mechanical loads and/or meeting specific panel processing requirements (embossing). Recommended for high-rise buildings, allowing for optimized dowelling.
Dual density and quick installation: the panel features a more rigid outer layer that facilitates dowelling, smoothing, and finishing, and a less dense backing for optimal adaptability to the substrate. The lightweight and easy-to-handle panel, thanks to its 1000x600 mm format, speeds up installation.
Dual density and acoustic properties: External thermal insulation can be schematized as a "mass-spring-mass" mechanical system, which is naturally engineered into the panel's dual density. The higher density layer increases its "mass," while the less dense backing optimizes the "spring" effect.
Thermal performance: thanks to its thermal conductivity, the panel is ideal for creating highly efficient building envelopes.
Vapor permeability: thanks to its μ value of 1, the panel allows for the creation of "breathable" closure systems.
Dimensional stability: the panel does not undergo dimensional or performance variations as the thermal and hygrometric conditions of the environment vary (fundamental for the durability of the external insulation system).
