ROCKWOOL ITALIA RAF-SE/V

RAF-SE/V is a medium-low density rock wool acoustic filler, called Akustik-Profilfüller RAF-SE/V.‎ It is pre-shaped with a "V" cross-section and coated on the exposed underside with a black mineral fleece for aesthetic purposes, for the sound absorption of continuous flat metal roofs.‎ Application When installing perforated corrugated sheets on the roofing intrados, Akustik-Profilfüller RAF-SE/V, installed inside the corrugations, is the most appropriate design choice for optimizing the sound absorption performance of the technological solution.‎ The acoustic filler is made of ROCKWOOL rock wool, pre-shaped with a central incision, which allows the element to be bent into a V for easy insertion into the trapezoidal corrugations.‎ Advantages Acoustic properties: When perforated corrugated sheets are used within the roofing package, the use of open-cell sound-absorbing material such as rock wool allows for effective control of the acoustic quality of interior spaces by reducing reverberation time and background noise levels.‎ Fire behavior: Rock wool is noncombustible, helps prevent the spread of fire, and can significantly increase a structure's fire-retaining capacity; it is an ideal insulation material for fire-resistant structures.‎ Dimensional stability: The product does not undergo changes in size or performance as the ambient humidity changes.‎
