B/SANA Mould remediation system with calcium silicate panel for indoor use The remediation system consists of the special insulating calcium silicate anti-mould panel B/SANA for indoor use, made of raw materials of mineral origin, with high hygroscopic capacity, to be applied, after sanitising the surfaces affected by mould by applying the anti-mould solution MUFFY SPRAY, with specific adhesive MYKOLL.‎ The glued panels will be smoothed again with MYKOLL and smoothed with BIOFINE biofinish.‎ The system is completed by the special B/SANA CUNE PANELS.‎ B/SANA is a mineral insulation panel based on calcium silicate and cellulose fibres, for indoor applications, suitable for solving wall mould problems once and for all.‎ Its high hygroscopic power makes it possible to lower the relative humidity of rooms.‎ It is produced in two versions: - Light: density: 220 kg/mc compressive strength > 1 N/mm2 thermal conductivity λ10.‎dry: 0.‎06 W/mK - Strong: density: 285 kg/mc compressive strength: > 2 N/mm2 thermal conductivity λ10,dry: 0.‎07 W/mK Fields of use - for renovation of walls with mould; - for absorbing excess indoor air humidity and establishing a healthy, comfortable indoor microclimate; - for insulating external walls from the inside without the use of a vapour barrier; - for insulating thermal bridges from the inside.‎ Properties: - composed of calcium silicate reinforced with cellulose; - high alkalinity that prevents the development of mould; - high vapour permeability (allows for re-evaporation); - good thermal insulation (raises surface T°) - low weight; - non-combustible (class A1); - monolithic and isotropic structure.‎ Bacchi s.‎p.‎a.‎ proposes a specific line of products for renovation and energy requalification interventions from the inside, which can improve the performance of the external envelope in an effective, quick and simple way but with great attention to health protection.‎ The three main factors that create most environmental and health problems are moisture, mould and heat loss.‎ Bacchi intervenes precisely on these factors with solutions that can be applied to the internal surface of pre-existing masonry, creating a sort of internal coat, with lime-based insulation, that reduces heat loss, without the use of vapour brakes, leaving the envelope breathable, dry and mould-free.‎ Internal insulation offers innumerable advantages, as it can be applied in any season and weather condition, does not require scaffolding, greatly reduces heat loss, improves thermal inertia in summer and allows the desired room temperature to be reached quickly.‎ The system includes: B/SANA, B/ISOLA: breathable mineral insulation panels.‎ They are applied to internal wall surfaces in a very simple manner, reducing heat loss and solving mould problems, while at the same time leaving the walls free to breathe and providing a pleasant, healthy indoor microclimate.‎  The line is completed by adhesives and skim coatings (MYKOLL and BIOFINE) and the anti-mould product (MUFFY SPRAY).‎
