SYSMIC The brick with a structural load-bearing capacity of more than 50 kg/cm2 specifically for load-bearing masonry in seismic areas.‎ SYSMIC is the strongest block in the GASBETON® SYSMIC family, developed for building load-bearing masonry buildings, up to 3 storeys above ground level, in areas characterised by a high degree of seismicity.‎ In addition to its high compressive strength, its ductility combined with its lightness give the building a great ability to withstand the forces transmitted to the masonry by the earthquake.‎ SYSMIC makes it possible to eliminate the load-bearing structure, which benefits construction speed and costs.‎ At the same time, it makes it possible to avoid vertical thermal bridges, which, together with the low thermal conductivity of cellular concrete, contribute to reducing the building's heating energy requirements.‎ Perforated blocks and channel blocks can be used to easily create vertical stiffeners in the corners of the building and horizontal stiffeners at the floor curb and lintel bearing openings.‎ To further increase the load-bearing capacity of the masonry, flat metal trusses can be inserted into the mortar joints.‎ A correctly designed, geometrically simple and regular building guarantees box-like behaviour and a high degree of safety.‎ Gasbeton® is a cellular concrete building system produced from natural raw materials, and therefore sustainable, and with a low environmental impact production cycle.‎ It is a light product, easy to work with and, in line with EU policies on energy and the environment, guarantees excellent performance in terms of thermal and acoustic insulation, mechanical resistance and fire resistance .‎ By varying the density, it is possible to create highly insulating blocks (low density) and very resistant blocks (high density).‎ The range therefore includes blocks to suit all requirements.‎ EVOLUTION can be used for internal partitions, for large fire-resistant masonry, or for infill masonry, even with a load-bearing function in low seismic zones, ENERGY is suitable for single-layer infill masonry that does not require a thermal coat, SYSMIC allows ordinary load-bearing masonry to be built even in areas of high seismicity, ACTIVE, which is lightweight and strong, offers excellent performance in both winter and summer for external masonry in nzeb and passive buildings without the addition of thermal coats.‎ The system is completed by ARCHITRAVI, special CANALETTA and FORATO blocks, adhesives and levelling compounds.‎
