PETALO interprets time through an organic form, built from overlapping elements that seem to open around the dial.‎ The different layers recall petals expanding outward and create a three-dimensional composition in which solids, curves and depth follow one another continuously.‎ The form remains legible while losing the rigidity of the traditional dial.‎ Colour accompanies the layering and can emphasise the transition between the different planes or blend them into a more tonal composition.‎ Light meets the overlapping surfaces and produces shadows that accentuate the sense of opening and movement on the wall.‎ PETALO is born from the encounter between geometry and organic form, transforming time into a soft, layered presence in continuous expansion.‎ Further info from manufacturer on PETALO CalleaDesign
