Rockwool 800 is a concentrically arranged rock wool pipe section, coated on one side with aluminum foil reinforced with an aesthetically pleasing mineral fiber mesh, for thermal and acoustic insulation of pipes in hot-field applications.‎ Application The product is particularly suitable for high-performance thermal insulation of pipes for plumbing and heating systems.‎ The section features a longitudinal cut for easy installation and a self-adhesive tab.‎ The product name, diameter, and thickness are printed on the aluminum coating; lines are also drawn to facilitate 45° cutting.‎ Benefits Fire performance: The product, in Euroclass A2L–s1,d0 (for external diameter ≤ 300 mm) and A2–s1,d0 (for external diameter > 300 mm), helps prevent the spread of fire.‎ Thermal performance: The product, available in a wide range of diameters and thicknesses, allows for thermal insulation of pipes for plumbing and heating systems.‎ Ease of installation: The product is easy to cut and allows for quick and easy installation, without the use of glue.‎ The markings on the aluminum coating allow for easy identification of the pipe section dimensions on site and provide guides for 45° cuts.‎ Corrosion resistance: The low chloride content reduces the risk of corrosion of steel system components.‎ Dimensional stability and durability: The pipe section does not undergo changes in size or performance as a result of changes in ambient temperature and humidity.‎
