B/GLAS Cellular glass granules for crawl space insulation and filling Cellular glass granulate B/GLAS is a bulk material that is laid dry.‎ Thanks to its composition, it does not absorb moisture by capillarity, is resistant to compression, is an outstanding lightener, an excellent insulator and is very easy to apply, considerably reducing installation time.‎ Composition: 100% recycled glass Applications: - Inconstruction as perimeter insulation under foundation slab and in flooring, slab fill, lightweight and insulated compensation layers over vaulted porches.‎ - Incivil engineering as lightweight cast for bridge abutments, lightweight and draining fill for retaining constructions, lightweight cast on tunnels, encapsulations and underground constructions or tanks.‎ - In special solutions such as terrain shaping for the creation of landscapes and sports areas, as a filtering and draining layer.‎ CELLULAR GLASS has long been used in construction as a lightening aggregate and as an insulating material.‎ The most important characteristics of this material includewater and vapourimpermeability, high mechanical strength, fire resistance and thermal insulation.‎ It is made from 100 per cent recycled glass that is ground, mixed with ecologically harmless activators and then expanded in a continuous furnace.‎ In the cooling phase, two different products can be obtained: GLAPOR: cellular glass sheets; B/GLAS: cellular glass granulate.‎
