VMZINC - Непрерывный металлический ламинат для крыши
VM Zinco Titanio laminates are made of Zinc Titanium, in a wide range of finishes and colours:
- VM ZINC® NATURAL: on leaving the rolling mill, zinc presents a shiny metallic appearance, which changes over time to give way to a natural patina (oxidation) of a light grey semi-opaque tone.
- VM ZINC® PREPATINATES: laminates that have a protective patinated surface, obtained through a phosphating process following the immersion of natural zinc in a solution that modifies the crystalline structure of the metal, for a minimum thickness of one micron. This surface is stable over time, does not undergo chromatic changes and already forms the definitive patina.
Available in the colours: QUARTZ-ZINC®, ANTHRA-ZINC®, PIGMENTO® Bark Brown, PIGMENTO® Lichen Green, PIGMENTO® Earth Red, PIGMENTO® Ash Blue.
- VM ZINC® BILACQUERED: Zinco Titanio laminates coated on both sides with a 20 µm polyester lacquer layer and a 5 µm primer applied continuously and oven-cured at high temperature. Excellent sealing of the lacquer on the zinc laminate, which is particularly resistant in the most difficult cases of bending and profiling.
Available in six standard colours: Tile Red / Stone White; Sky Blue / Slate Grey; Copper Green / Dark Brown.
VM ZINC® laminates are specifically designed for building cladding such as roofing and related finishes.
NATURALE by VM ZINC® - Zinco Titanio with natural light grey semi-matt patina
NATURALE by VM ZINC® is the Zinco Titanio laminate as it comes out of the rolling mill. At this stage, the zinc has a shiny metallic appearance, which changes over time to give way to a natural patina (oxidation) of a semi-matt light grey tone.
VM ZINC® PREPATINATES
VM ZINC® PREPATINATES are laminates that have a protective patinated surface, obtained through a phosphating process following the immersion of natural zinc in a solution that modifies the crystalline structure of the metal, for a minimum thickness of one micron. This surface is stable over time, does not undergo colour changes and already forms the final patina.
QUARTZ-ZINC® - light grey pre-patinated zinc titanium
QUARTZ-ZINC® is light grey pre-patinated zinc titanium. It has an appearance very similar to that of natural patinated zinc, as it appears after many years of exposure.
Bright, warm, with an intense colour similar to a velvety texture evocative of the mineral world, QUARTZ-ZINC® is characterised by its high aesthetic quality, surface homogeneity and stability over time.
Used for facades, roofing, interior design, rainwater drainage accessories, in all areas of construction also in combination with other materials.
ANTHRA-ZINC® - Zinco Titanio pre-patinated dark grey
ANTHRA-ZINC®: pre-patinated dark grey takes its name from its anthracite grey colour, similar to the colour of natural slate with which it is often associated.
ANTHRA-ZINC® comes complete with T.O.C. coating. (Thin Organic Coating) neutral and transparent coating that protects the appearance of the surface during installation and increases its durability.
ANTHRA-ZINC® is particularly suitable for façade cladding of modern buildings and interior design.
PIGMENTO® - Zinco Titanio pre-patinated with added mineral pigments with three colour finishes
The PIGMENTO® range is obtained from a QUARTZ-ZINC® substrate to which mineral pigments are added. The new coloured finish retains the natural texture of the pre-patinated zinc.
Available in three different shades (ash blue, earth red and lichen green), the new PIGMENTO® pre-patinates can be applied on all types of buildings, on roofs and façades, for innovative coverings and for harmonious combination with other materials.
They adapt to the most innovative shapes for both new buildings and architectural restoration.

VM ZINC® - Zinco Titanio with natural light grey semi-matt patina
Zinc Titanio coated on both sides with a 20 µm layer of polyester lacquer and a 5 µm primer applied continuously and cured by oven baking at high temperature. Excellent lacquer hold on the rolled zinc, particularly resistant in the most difficult cases of bending and profiling. Available in six standard colours:
ZINC, VM ZINC® and PREMIUMZINC
EN 988: the European standard for zinc-titanium
Zinco Titanio laminate VM ZINC® complies with the European standard EN 988, which guarantees 99.995 % purity of zinc with copper and titanium added, and compliance with the dimensional and mechanical characteristics of the products. Compliance with this standard gives VM ZINC® zinc products a multi-decade guarantee.
PREMIUMZINC, VM ZINC®'s quality certification
VM ZINC® has implemented and obtained PREMIUMZINC certification, which exceeds the requirements of the EN 988 standard.
This certification is more restrictive on several parameters, especially flatness and chemical composition. In addition, it includes important tests not covered by the EN 988 standard, such as bending tests at 4°C and drawing tests.
Two independent certification institutes regularly carry out control tests: EMPA, in Switzerland, for chemical composition and mechanical properties; ZID, in Germany, for dimensional tolerances.
These controls guarantee VM Zinco Titanio customers a high quality of Zinco Titanio, which exceeds the requirements of the European standard.
A high-performance alloy
Zinco titanio VMZINC® is a rolled zinc alloyed with copper and titanium, with mechanical and physical characteristics optimised for application in construction (roofing and façade cladding, finishes, rainwater drainage systems), particularly in terms of mechanical strength and resistance to material deformation.
Zinco VMZINC® consists of the highest quality Z1 (99.995% pure zinc) in accordance with EN 1179 with additions of titanium and copper:
titanium: min. 0.06 % - max. 0.20 %
copper: min. 0.08 % - max. 1.00 %
Natural Corrosion Resistance
Zinc's centuries-old resistance to corrosion is now well established.
The metal surface of zinc reacts in contact with the main constituents of the atmosphere (oxygen, carbon dioxide and water) to form a thin surface passivation layer commonly known as a patina. Once formed on the metal surface, this inhibits the exchange between zinc and oxygen in the atmosphere, keeping zinc's corrosion rate and emissions at a low level.
The patina: a two-stage protection
The light grey patina forms over a period of between six months and two years depending on the climate, the exposure of the location and the aggressiveness of the atmosphere. It consists of two parts:
a first layer of basic zinc carbonate formed from very dense crystals is not soluble in water. This first layer protects the zinc entirely and slows down its exchange with the oxygen present in the atmosphere.
a second layer of zinc oxide or hydroxide is of varying thickness, less adherent and very porous; its constituents make it possible to neutralise the acidity of rain and effluents that may flow onto the zinc.
Proven longevity
The longevity of zinc is directly linked to its atmospheric environment. In a rural environment, the average lifespan of a Zinco Titanio construction is between 90 and 100 years. In a maritime environment, near the coast, its life span is around 40 to 70 years. Finally, in a highly industrialised environment, it is about 50 years. However, the reduction of pollutant emissions imposed by legislation in many countries, in particular sulphur dioxide (SO2) emissions, has made it possible and will continue to make it possible to significantly reduce the gap between rural and industrialised environments.
VM ZINC® and the environment
All VMZINC® products are environmentally friendly - VMZINC® is 100% recyclable - i.e. the material can be entirely re-melted, without residues and without losing its properties.
