PV*SOL makes it possible to optimise all system configurations normally used for grid-connected or stand-alone photovoltaic systems. By using a photograph of the building, a realistic representation of the system can be obtained with the integrated 'Photo Plan' survey software.
A design 'assistant' enables the quick evaluation of the air-termination area according to the user's needs.
FEATURES AND PERFORMANCES
PV*SOL
and PV*SOL Premium can be used for grid-connected systems with total feed-in, and with the purchase of either software, the 'Standalone' module is provided free of charge, allowing simulation and evaluation of stand-alone systems.
In addition, string and AC/DC cable losses can be calculated for each inverter.
Both programmes provide the following features:
-Module
distribution
in manual and automatic mode
-Climatic
data
from 8,000 weather stations worldwide
-A
rich component database comprising some 14,500 PV modules and 3,500 inverters, which is constantly updated with the automatic update function.
-
Graphical calculation of the number of modules to be placed on the roof with freely configurable roof types
-Simple and complex shading
analysis
(the latter is possible with PV*SOL Premium in 3D)
-Summary of
the results in a detailed report, with roof views and detailed analysis calculations.
PV*SOL Premium also includes a 3D representation tool and a detailed shading analysis of grid systems, whether parallel or roof-integrated.
