IS MICROPALI is the software dedicated to the analysis of micropiles of different construction types in complex stratigraphies. In particular, micropiles of type A (cast without excess pressure), B (mortar pressurised during the extraction of the lining), C (mortar injection once with the use of valves, IGU), D (mortar injection multiple times with the use of valves, IRS) can be considered. It is possible to specify the injection pressure to further refine the analysis.
The calculation parameters that can be set make it possible to consider separately and selectively the lateral and tip flow rates, as well as to apply the coefficients of the different approaches of the Technical Standard.
The calculation methods implemented are:
- Formulation for large-diameter piles
- Fleming
- Spanish Standard
- Mammino
- Bustamante and Doix
- Schneebeli (for micro-piles in tension)
- Manually definable limiting tension
Of all, that of Bustamante and Doix is the most widely used and is supported by the greatest number of practical applications (and is dependent on an SPT test).
For the estimation of the limit stress, the software also proposes the tables of the American FHWA standard NHI-05-039 and the German DIN V 1054-100 (as well as some found in technical literature), depending on the type of micropile and soil.
The calculation of subsidence is carried out using the Randolf and Wroth theory, specifying a Poisson's coefficient and shear modulus value representative of the stratigraphy (the shear modulus can be evaluated on the basis of an SPT test automatically by the programme).
Buckling due to peak load is calculated using the Timoshenko theory, making use of the Winkler coefficient of the soil.
Free for DOLMEN users.
You can pick up the software free of charge at trade fairs and seminars in which CDM Dolmen participates.
